It is the goal of the Development Review Division to partner with you in the development of your project within Escambia County. In order to help facilitate the process, please consider these few points:

  • Before you begin your project, please check and double check your zoning and future land use category first. All of our planners will gladly help you with this critical first step.
  • A pre-application meeting is not required for all development proposals; however, we strongly recommend that you have one. This is a free service that we offer so that we can highlight the ordinance regulations and address potential issues and discuss potential solutions.
  • Please submit an accurate and legible site plan, along with a complete application. We have checklists available to assist you with the development proposal.
As a partner with you, our goal is to provide quality service from beginning to end in the development process.
