Addressing Fee
The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners has adopted a $20 fee to issue an address. However, if a proposal will become a development under review by the Development Review Committee, the cost is covered in the overall project submittal and review fee. Also, if the address procedure to be performed is to adjust addresses to better show consecutive order and to repair historic address order (out of order) issues, the fee is waived because it helps to improve the county's data and assist emergency dispatch needs for 911 and public safety, including post-disaster damage assessment.
By using a systematic approach to addressing, first responders and emergency personnel are provided with the most accurate and up-to-date address information so they may assist residents as quickly as possible.
Please use the Address Lookup Tool to determine if the property you are requesting an address for is in Escambia County. The city of Pensacola and Santa Rosa Island Authority handle addressing for properties within their boundaries in-house.
