The Employee and Labor Relations Division is responsible for providing departments with guidance and systematic methods to improve employee performance or behavior and promote cooperative relations between management and employees. Employee Relations also provides neutral and unbiased information and guidance to management and employees regarding counseling and disciplinary issues. Labor Relations has responsibility for all activities concerning unions representing county employees. This includes planning, directing, developing and coordinating the collective bargaining agreements that cover certain employees.
