County Paid Life and AD&D Insurance (Group No. 754403) 

The county provides $40,000 of Term Life and AD&D Insurance at no cost to eligible employees.  Employees that do not elect health care coverage through the county receive an additional $10,000 worth of life and AD&D insurance at no cost.   

Supplemental Life Insurance

Term

Employees have the option to purchase supplemental life insurance for themselves and their dependents. An employee may purchase two times their annual salary up to $100,000 at age rated premiums without medical underwriting upon employment. Employees may buy coverage on their spouse up to $30,000 without medical underwriting upon employment. Employees have the option of purchasing additional life insurance for themselves and spouse with medical documentation. 

Whole Life

Employees have a one-time option to purchase permanent and portable life coverage without medical underwriting through Boston Mutual insurance.
