Escambia County After School Program

Registration is now open for Escambia County's Youth Connection After School Program, providing local youth with a fun, educational, and recreational environment at several Escambia County community centers. 

The program is open to Escambia County youth ages 5-13, with registration available now until Friday, April 17. Limited spaces are available. 

How to Register:

Registration Requirements:   

  • Completed registration application and $75 registration fee ($35 for each additional child); or
  • Completed scholarship application with proof of income to have the registration fee waived

This year's Youth Connection After School Program will take place from Aug. 13 through the end of the school year, Monday-Friday from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the following community centers:

  • Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto St.
  • Ebonwood Community Center, 3511 W. Scott St.
  • Marie K. Young-Wedgewood Community Center, 6405 Wagner Road

The Youth Connection After School Program will offer fun and educational activities including academic enrichment, arts and crafts, sports and fitness, educational and nutritional programs, drama and cultural activities, and more. After school program participants will also receive homework help and tutoring during their time in the program.

($35 for each additional child)

Scholarships are available with income document verification.
