The Bayou Chico Watershed consists of Bayou Chico, which discharges to Pensacola Bay and the tributaries of Jones Creek, Jackson Creek and Maggie’s Ditch.\r\n

The RESTORE Act Advisory Committee, formed by Escambia County to develop recommendations for short-and long-term recovery strategies post-BP oil disaster, has worked diligently with County staff and the consultant firm Dewberry to include public input into the development of a draft Needs Assessment document (attached), a process that has been ongoing for several months. Now that the Needs Assessment is in the final stages, community members have an opportunity, once again, to take a few minutes to review the draft document and provide feedback.
