New Traffic Pattern for the Escambia Bay Bridge

Published Sep 3, 2015

The eastbound left travel lane of the Escambia Bay Bridge is closed near the eastern end of the bridge. Traffic is shifted to the right, with two lanes remaining open.

The new traffic pattern allows work to begin that will expand I-10 from four to six travel lanes from the eastern end of the bridge to east of the Avalon Boulevard (State Road 281) exit. This new traffic pattern will remain in place for approximately nine months.

All construction activities are weather dependent and may be re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
