Emergency repairs on U.S. 90 (Nine Mile Road) between the Escambia River Bridge and Scenic Highway have been rescheduled to a later date. All lanes will open to traffic as Florida Department of Transportation personnel reevaluate the construction project in order to reduce traffic impacts and minimize delays.

An emergency repair contract on U.S. 90 (Nine Mile Road) between the Escambia River Bridge and Scenic Highway will begin Monday, August 25. After morning peak hour traffic, crews will begin making repairs to the westbound outside, right lane and shoulder. Westbound traffic will be restricted to one lane between the Escambia River Bridge and Scenic Highway for approximately three weeks. Drivers are reminded to use caution, be patient and to be a safe and courteous driver.
