48 Hour Road Closure Notice: Myrtle Grove Design Build Sidewalk Project

The following road(s) will have a closure and/or detour implemented beginning Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2015, to construct improvements associated with underground stormwater system installation on 65th Avenue north of W. Jackson Street.

Project Description: Myrtle Grove Design Build Sidewalk Project 

65th Avenue detour for construction south of Chelsea Street: 65th Avenue southbound traffic will be detoured at Chelsea Street beginning Wednesday, October 28, 2015. The closure will be implemented each day until storm system on 65th Avenue south of Chelsea Street is installed. Northbound traffic will travel unimpeded.

Southbound motorist on 65th Avenue: Motorist will be detoured from 65th Avenue west onto Chelsea Street then south onto 68th Avenue back to W. Jackson Street. Motorist will be detour with a well marked route.

65th Avenue southbound detour for construction at Chelsea Street: Chelsea Street will be closed to thru traffic at 68th Avenue. Southbound lane on 65th Avenue will have a lane closure implemented to be managed by flagman. Motorist will experience a stop/slow condition.

65th Avenue southbound lane closure for construction north Chelsea Street: Southbound lane on 65th Avenue will have a lane closure implemented to be managed by flagman. Motorist will experience a stop/slow condition.

All closures and detours will be marked with advance warning signs, barricades, detour arrows and reflective drums. For more information or general questions, call (850) 478-5250.
