Applications Still Being Accepted for Free Afterschool Program

Applications are still being accepted for Escambia County's free afterschool program for youth in grades K-12. As part of the County's Play, Learn, Grow initiative, the program days and dates have been extended and will now last through Dec. 18 and will be held at the Brownsville Community Resource Center (3200 W. DeSoto Street) every Monday through Friday from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Afterschool activities for participants will include homework assistance, tutoring, recreation, guest speakers, and arts and crafts.
