  • Power Restored to Escambia County Administration Building

All services within the building are operational, including the Board of County Commissioners, County Adminstration, Escambia County Tax Collector, Escambia County Property Appraiser, Clerk of Court and the Supervisor of Elections offices.

  • Public Works Department Storm Damage Recovery Update

    The County’s initial damage assessment noted roughly 740 line items of issues that needed a form of action to be taken. To date, approximately 500 of those items have been addressed and several in-depth drainage studies to assess some of the hardest hit areas of the County have been initiated in areas such as Lake Charlene, Ponderosa, Chandler and Holsberry.

  • Traffic Signal Timing Changed on Davis Highway

    In order to accommodate the increased traffic congestion resulting from the Scenic Highway detour, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has changed the traffic signal timing along Davis Highway. Recent heavy rains and flooding in the area caused damage to Scenic Highway in several locations, with the associated detour routes having been designated as Davis Highway and Ninth Avenue.

  • Jail Video Visitation Disruption of Service

    Escambia County Corrections has announced that video visitation service will be taken offline from 7 a.m. until noon, tomorrow, Tuesday, May 20..
