    Escambia County Fire Rescue invites the public to join in celebrating the arrival of the new Squad 3 Apparatus at a push-in ceremony on Saturday, June 8 at 11 a.m. at ECFR Station 3, 5925 N. W St. This brand-new apparatus is built to facilitate ECFR'S Special Operations response and fire suppression operations throughout Escambia County, along with operations across the region as needed.

    Escambia County collected and disposed of more than 44 tons (88,720 pounds) of debris during the Barrancas East and Barrancas West Neighborhood Cleanups in April and May, as part of the county's ongoing effort to help keep local neighborhoods and communities clean and safe. The events allowed residents to leave items at the curb to be disposed of free of charge by the county and partnering agencies.
