The Board of County Commissioners Public Forum will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the BCC Regular Meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. All meetings will take place in the board chambers of the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, found on the first floor of 221 Palafox Place.

    Registration is underway for the Escambia County Parks and Recreation Department's fall softball league for adults 18 and up, offering options for men, co-ed and church teams. Registration and payment are due Friday, Sept. 27 to the Parks and Recreation Department, 1651 E. Nine Mile Road. League play begins Tuesday, Oct. 1.
