    Escambia County Area Transit will join with other public transportation systems nationwide to participate in the 13th annual National Dump the Pump Day on Thursday, June 21. ECAT is offering free rides for everyone on Dump the Pump Day to encourage residents and visitors to hop on board ECAT and to ride public transit for the day.

  • Lane Closure Notice for District 5 Bridges

  • Marine Resources and UWF Deploy Argo Reef

    Escambia County's Marine Resources Division and the University of West Florida deployed the Argo Reef in the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday, June 7, approximately 12.5 nautical miles southeast of Pensacola Pass. The Argo Reef consists of the university's steel dive platform, which has been anchored for many years near the Emmanuel Point shipwreck site to support underwater archaeological research.
