Pensacola Beach celebrated its first sea turtle hatch of the season in the evening of Sunday, July 24. 84 loggerhead hatchlings safely reached the Gulf of Mexico, despite being disoriented by artificial lighting. Escambia County Sea Turtle Patrol volunteers arrived on site in time to assist with the hatchling response.

Life Options Clinic, a family resource center, will soon celebrate their one-year anniversary of their Century branch, located at 511 Church St. As a non-profit volunteer organization, Life Options Clinic acts as a support system for women and their families.
