Escambia County's Play, Learn, Grow after school program will host a special spring break program Monday, March 20 through Friday, March 24 from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Marie K. Young/Wedgewood Community Center and Park. The program is free and open to youth in grades K-12, including those who have never participated in the Play, Learn, Grow after school program.

The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County has rescinded the air quality health advisory near Rolling Hills Construction and Demolition Landfill, located at 6990 Rolling Hills Road. Escambia County crews have been working to extinguish a brush fire on the property, and the associated smoke is no longer present.
