    The installation of 405 LED street lights is underway in the Ensley Community Redevelopment Area, with a goal of enhancing safety and deterring crime in the community. The approximately $219,000 project is being paid for by Escambia County through Community Development Block Grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

  • Olive Road Lane Closure Notice

    Olive Road between Kipling Street and Ninth Avenue will experience intermittent lane closures beginning Tuesday, July 25 and ending on or before Thursday, Aug. 3. The closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and traffic will be controlled and detoured along Olive Road by flagging crews.
