Chipley– Construction activities are scheduled to begin the week of January 22, 2018 on County Road 196 (Barrineau Park Road) over Jacks Branch in Escambia County. Crews will remove and replace the bridge over Jacks Branch, add new guardrail, and reconstruct the approach slabs.
Barrineau Park Road will be closed and traffic detoured via U.S. 29, Molino Road (C.R. 182), and State Road 95A. The $1.97 million project is anticipated to be complete fall 2018; weather permitting.
