  • Escambia County Rent and Utility Assistance Applications Closed

    The Escambia County Community Block Development Grant-Coronavirus - Emergency Rental and Utility Assistance Program is no longer accepting applications. Due to the high volume of applications submitted, the county Neighborhood and Human Services department has committed all available grant funding.

    The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners will hold its regular meeting Thursday, Feb. 8. Agenda review begins at 9 a.m., public forum begins at 4:30 p.m. and the regular meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. All meetings will take place in the board chambers of the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, located on the first floor of 221 Palafox Place.

  • Road Work Scheduled for Via De Luna Blvd/Ft. Pickens Road Intersection

    Escambia County Engineering will begin a resurfacing paving project on County Road 399, Pensacola Beach Blvd., and the intersection with Fort Pickens Road. Resurfacing work in the intersection will begin on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, and is expected to last four days. Work will be conducted from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Resurfacing on the southbound lanes of Pensacola Beach Blvd. will begin at the south end of the toll plaza on Feb. 12, 2024. The entire project is to be completed within 30 days.
