  • Reminder: District 2 Neighborhood Cleanup for Edgewater and Davenport Slated for Feb. 12

    Residents of Edgewater and Davenport will have the opportunity to dispose of yard debris and other items free of charge Friday, Feb. 12 during the Neighborhood Cleanup in District 2. Only residents in the designated cleanup area are able to participate in the neighborhood cleanup. Items left at the curb outside of the cleanup area will not be collected. See the map below for the details of the cleanup area.

  • Face Coverings on Public Transit is a Federal Mandate

    ECAT (Escambia County Area Transit) would like to remind residents that face masks are required to ride public transportation. Free face masks have been provided since June 1 and will continue to be available. Face masks have also been required to ride ECAT since Dec. 21.

    Escambia County is pleased to announce the myescambia.com website will go live with a new home page look and feel the morning of Monday, Feb. 8. The site is expected to be down between 6 and 7:30 a.m. while the switch occurs. The same functionality will exist on the home page; however, the information will be graphically arranged in a way to make content easier to find.
