Escambia County is continuing to monitor a trough of low pressure over the north-central Gulf that is producing a broad area of disorganized rain showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Hurricane Center. Escambia County should expect increased rain chances and increased surf and rip currents along coastal areas Thursday, July 24, and Friday, July 25.
