Escambia County Extension, the University of Florida-Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF-IFAS) and participating organizations throughout the state are offering a Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP). This program is designed as an environmental education extension program to inform and prepare individuals to share information about Florida’s natural world and environmental history. Anyone who has an enthusiastic interest in learning more about Florida’s environment is encouraged to participate and classes are appropriate for both novice and highly skilled environmental professionals.

The on ramp from southbound U.S. 29 to westbound I-10 will be closed from 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, to 6 a.m. on Monday, March 24, as crews continue installing barrier wall. Motorists will be directed to use the northbound U.S. 29 on ramp during the temporary closure. \r\n\r\nThe exit ramp from eastbound I-10 to northbound U.S. 29 will be closed from 10 p.m. on Monday, March 24, to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25. Motorists will be directed to use the southbound U.S. 29 off ramp during the temporary closure. Drivers are reminded to use extreme caution when traveling through the work zone.\r\n
