In an effort to reduce the mosquito population in Escambia County, the Mosquito Control Division has filed a "Notice of Intent" to proceed with fogging missions Wednesday, Oct. 7 in Commission Districts 1, 3 and 5. Mission hours vary, but typically occur in the evening hours from 6-9:30 p.m.

A survey has been designed by the University of West Florida's College of Business and the Haas Center to gauge the community's interest in ferry service between the cities of Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach. The survey will take just a few minutes to complete at: uwf.edu/ferryservice.
