    In an effort to reduce the mosquito population in Escambia County, the Mosquito Control Division has filed a "Notice of Intent" to proceed with fogging missions Wednesday, Oct. 7 in Commission Districts 1, 3 and 5. Mission hours vary, but typically occur in the evening hours from 6-9:30 p.m.

Scammers may contact survivors who have not registered with FEMA and try to extract money or information. In these cases, it is likely the survivor’s personal data has been compromised.

    A survey has been designed by the University of West Florida's College of Business and the Haas Center to gauge the community's interest in ferry service between the cities of Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach. The survey will take just a few minutes to complete at: uwf.edu/ferryservice. A decision about ferry service will be made within the next couple of weeks, so please complete this survey as soon as possible this week.
