  • District 3 Neighborhood Cleanup for Englewood/Ebonwood Scheduled for June 18

    Residents of Englewood/Ebonwood will have the opportunity to dispose of yard debris and other items free of charge Friday, June 18 during the Neighborhood Cleanup in District 3. Only residents in the designated cleanup area are able to participate in the neighborhood cleanup. Items left at the curb outside of the cleanup area will not be collected. See the map below for the details of the cleanup area.

  • Solar Windmill Installed at Perdido Key Community Center

    A PrimoEnergy EnergiPlant solar windmill was installed today at the Perdido Key Community Center in time for World Ocean Day on June 8. The windmill, equipped with a 1200W wind turbine and four 50W solar panels, will also provide seating and phone charging capabilities.

    In commemoration of Florida's Territorial Bicentennial and Escambia County's 200th Anniversary, the 200th Anniversary Commission is seeking the community’s input on items to place in a time capsule on July 17, 2021 at the 10 a.m. event at the Historic Village, Museum Plaza in Pensacola. After the event, the time capsule will be stored safely with UWF Historic Trust and will be reopened in 25 years!
