The Perdido Key Chamber of Commerce and Gulf Islands National Seashore staff announced that the annual Rosamond Johnson Beach Day celebration will take place at Johnson Beach in the Gulf Islands National Seashore at 10 a.m. May 1, 2021. The annual event had to be canceled in 2020 due to Covid restrictions in place at that time.

Residents of Brownsville South will have the opportunity to dispose of yard debris and other items free of charge tomorrow, April 16 during the Neighborhood Cleanup in District 2. Only residents in the designated cleanup area are able to participate in the neighborhood cleanup. Items left at the curb outside of the cleanup area will not be collected.
