The Escambia County Waste Services Department will host the next Regional Roundup on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 8 a.m. until noon at Washington High School, 6000 College Parkway, in the WHS Driver’s Ed. parking lot (near the tennis courts). Regional Roundup events provide an opportunity to properly dispose of electronics, household hazardous waste and up to four tires per vehicle, free of charge.

Escambia County collected and disposed of approximately 84 tons (168,000 pounds) of debris during the District 3 Montclair/Westernmark Neighborhood Cleanup in July, as part of the county's ongoing effort to help keep local neighborhoods and communities clean and safe. The event allowed residents to leave items at the curb to be disposed of free of charge by the county and partnering agencies.

Residents of Lincoln Park will have the opportunity to dispose of yard debris and other items free of charge Wednesday, July 28 during the Neighborhood Cleanup in District 3. Only residents in the designated cleanup area are able to participate in the neighborhood cleanup. Items left at the curb outside of the cleanup area will not be collected.
