At the conclusion of "Keep the Wreath Green," Escambia County Fire Rescue placed a total of 19 red bulbs on the wreaths between Dec. 1 through Dec. 31. The record for amount of red bulbs on the wreath is 22, a record set in 2004. The 19 red bulbs are the second-highest amount.

Residents wishing to dispose of organic Christmas trees can do through Emerald Coast Utilities Authority or City of Pensacola Sanitation collections. Please be sure to remove all decorations, ornaments and any attached tree stands. Do not place Christmas trees in recycling or garbage containers.

The Escambia County Waste Services Department will host the next Regional Roundup on Saturday, Jan. 22 from 8 a.m. until noon at Molino Park Elementary School, 899 Highway 97. Regional Roundup events provide an opportunity to properly dispose of electronics, household hazardous waste and up to four tires per vehicle, free of charge.
