The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Three office is suspending highway construction projects on major roadways across Northwest Florida. There will be no work on state roads requiring lane restrictions Friday, July 4. All major roads will be open to normal traffic.

ECUA Sanitary Sewer Overflows recently occurred at the following District 3 locations:\r\n• Thursday, June 26, at North A Street and West Jordan Street and is estimated at 225 gallons. \r\n• Friday, June 27, near N. Hayne Street and E. Lloyd Street. The overflow is estimated at 200 gallons. \r\nThe Escambia County Health Department, the State Warning Point and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection were notified.\r\n\r\n

The Florida Department of Transportation has completed the replacement of the bridge located on Bauer Road over Unnamed Branch and has now opened the road to traffic. As of June 30, Pensacola Bay Transportation will no longer provide services in Escambia County for the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (CTD) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in Escambia County.\r\n\r\nBeginning July 1, CTD and ADA customers will be provided service through the Escambia County Community Transportation Center.
