Florida Association of Counties features Escambia in 2015 Calendar

The Florida Association of Counties (FAC) recently announced that an image from Escambia County will be included in its 2015 FAC Calendar: Sunrises and Sunsets.

“Those of us that live in the sunshine state are blessed to see some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets in the world,” said Florida Association of Counties President and Escambia County Commissioner Grover C.  Robinson, IV. “We received so many photo submissions it was hard to pick only 15. I only regret that there are not 67 months in a year!”

Each of Florida’s 67 counties were asked to submit its best photos of sunrises and sunsets, which created a record response of photos submitted for consideration. Of the more than 500 submissions, 15 photos were selected for the 2015 FAC Calendar, including a beautiful sunrise over Pensacola Beach, which will be showcased for the month of August.
