Three new traffic signals on West Cervantes Street, at the intersections of North J, North L and North R Streets, will be fully operational beginning Tuesday, May 17. These three signals have been in flash mode for the last two weeks to ensure drivers were aware of the change before they were activated.

Escambia County is pleased to announce a successful start to the 2022 neighborhood cleanup schedule in District 4. Communities including Olive Road, Ferry Pass, Northpointe and North Davis have all participated in neighborhood cleanups, bringing in a total of over 96 tons of debris (192,000 pounds) collected throughout District 4.

Escambia County Sea Turtle Patrol volunteers recorded the first nest of the 2022 season on Pensacola Beach early this morning, May 11. The nest is a loggerhead, which account for 90% of nests laid in Escambia County.
