Household Hazardous Waste
HHW may be brought to Perdido Landfill Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, the Oak Grove Citizen’s Convenience Center accepts waste Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Household hazardous waste includes paint and paint products (up to 20 gallons), a variety of household chemicals (up to 5 gallons), used motor oil (up to 5 gallons), fluorescent bulbs (up to 10), e-waste and batteries. Escambia County holds Regional Roundups each year. Residents may bring their HHW to the location. There is no charge for disposal. Click here for information on the next Regional Roundup.
Vehicle Recycling
At this time Escambia County Waste Services does not recycle unwanted vehicles. We encourage all residents and businesses to check online for available resources.
