Residential Recycling
Curbside recycling is available from the city of Pensacola for its residents and from Emerald Coast Utilities Authority for unincorporated areas. For detailed information or to request service, please click on the link to the right.
Business Recycling
If you are a business in Escambia County, you can recycle. Please contact your waste provider for recycling information.
Drop–Off Centers
Escambia County also provides several recycling drop-off locations in the county. Typical materials accepted are glass, aluminum, plastics 1-2, cardboard and newspaper. For a complete list of recyclable materials click here.
Where can I recycle?
- Oak Grove Convenience Center: 745 County Road 99, McDavid
- Palafox Transfer Station: 2906 N. Palafox St., Pensacola
- Open Monday-Friday from 6 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Perdido Landfill: 13009 Beulah Road, Cantonment
- Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., residential and commercial
- Saturdays from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., residential and commercial
- Fire Station #3 (City of Pensacola): 2750 Summit Blvd, Pensacola
Residential Clean Demo Concrete Disposal
Free disposal of clean demo concrete is available at Perdido Landfill. Demo concrete should be free of rebar, backer board, wire mesh and trash. Please contact Waste Services at 850-937-2160 with any questions.
Commercial Clean Demo Concrete Disposal
Free disposal of clean demo concrete may be available at Perdido Landfill. Demo concrete should be free of backer board, rebar, wire mesh and trash. Please contact Waste Services at 850-937-2160 to arrange disposal.
Household Hazardous Waste
HHW may be brought to Perdido Landfill Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In addition, the Oak Grove Citizen’s Convenience Center accepts waste Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Household hazardous waste includes paint and paint products (up to 10 gallons), gasoline (up to 10 gallons), a variety of household chemicals (up to 5 gallons), used motor oil (up to 5 gallons), fluorescent bulbs (up to 10), e-waste and batteries. Escambia County Community Redevelopment Agency’s Safe Neighborhood Program hosts neighborhood clean-up events with local partners to include Escambia County Waste Services, Environmental Code Enforcement, Public Works, Animal Services and Work Annex, along with the City of Pensacola Sanitation Department and Keep Pensacola Beautiful. Vehicle Recycling
At this time Escambia County Waste Services does not recycle unwanted vehicles. We encourage all residents and businesses to check online for available resources.
