How Do I Apply

IMPORTANT: Protect the effective date for your claim:

Call the VA at (800) 698-2411 or MyVA411
Select Option #5
Tell the VA representative you would like to establish an "INTENT" to file a claim

This will protect your effective date for one year while we help you prepare and submit your claims to the VA. Submission of an "intent" is not a claim.

Although it's possible for Veterans to submit claims to the VA online, the use of an accredited Veterans Service Officer is highly recommended. A VSO is also a Veteran and YOUR advocate who is experienced in claim submission and terminology which will help to expedite the process.
