Service Delivery
The Service Delivery division provides expert technical support to more than 1,700 County employees across desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones,
and peripherals. The team responds to thousands of incidents and requests annually via phone, email, web, and in-person walk-ins, ensuring staff can work efficiently and securely.
- End-user device support for desktops, laptops, tablets, cell phones, and peripherals.
- Industry-standard patch management to keep devices secure and up to date.
- Deployment of new hardware and software using County IT standards for consistency and security.
- Training and guidance on IT tools, cybersecurity awareness, and productivity software.
- Monitoring and managing service performance metrics to improve response times and support quality.
- Collaboration with other IT divisions to implement upgrades, new technologies, and system enhancements.
Applications
The Applications team leads strategic technology planning and ensures departments have the right solutions for their business needs. The team implements and supports enterprise and departmental applications, builds and maintains public websites and internal apps, and coordinates reporting and integrations.
- Strategic Planning & Governance: Align technology investments with County priorities; roadmaps, standards, portfolio management.
- Business Analysis & Solution Design: Process mapping, requirements, and vendor/solution selection.
- Application Implementation & Support: Configuration, integration, maintenance, and enhancement of business systems.
- Web & Application Development: Public websites and internal applications aligned to security and accessibility standards.
- Data & Reporting Enablement: Validated reports, dashboards, and system integrations with data owners.
- Financial & Vendor Management: Budgeting, purchasing, contracts/vendor coordination, and invoice processing for IT services.
