Service Delivery

The Service Delivery division provides expert technical support to over 1,700 County employees, covering laptops, desktop computers, tablets, cell phones, and peripheral devices. This team responds to thousands of incidents and requests each year via phone, email, web, and in-person walk-ins, ensuring County staff can perform their work efficiently and securely.

In addition to day-to-day support, the Service Delivery team:

  • Maintains and enforces industry-standard patch management, keeping all devices on the network secure and up to date.
  • Deploys new hardware and software using the Escambia County IT Standard methods, ensuring consistency, reliability, and security across all departments.
  • Provides training and guidance to employees on best practices for IT tools, cybersecurity, and productivity software.
  • Monitors and manages service performance metrics to continuously improve response times and quality of support.
  • Collaborates with other IT divisions to implement upgrades, new technologies, and system enhancements that support County operations.

Through these efforts, the Service Delivery division ensures that County employees have the tools, support, and guidance they need to serve the public effectively.
