Infrastructure Division
The Infrastructure Division comprises three teams—Data Systems, Network, and Security—that design, operate, and protect core technology platforms across the county enterprise, supported agencies, and constitutional offices.
Data Systems Team
- Administers the County’s physical and virtual server platforms across multiple data centers, including associated power and cooling systems.
- Performs comprehensive backup and recovery operations to protect County data and services.
- Optimizes the performance, reliability, and scalability of the County’s enterprise computing environment.
Network Team
- Supports routers, switches, secure Wi-Fi, internet access, and VPN across the county enterprise, supported agencies, and constitutional offices.
- Maintains core network services (DNS / DHCP / NTP), traffic management, and load balancing.
- Operates Cisco Unified Communications Manager with greater than 2,000 VoIP phones across the County.
Security Team
- Responsible for the overall security posture of the county enterprise and assists supported agencies and consitutional offices with cyber security.
- Implements a layered defense across people, process, and technology.
- Leads vulnerability management, security awareness, and policy.
- Monitors and responds to threats to keep County systems secure and resilient.
