Infrastructure Division

The Infrastructure Division comprises three teams—Server, Network, and Security—that design, operate, and protect the County’s core technology platforms.

Server Team

  • Manages server and storage platforms across two County data centers (including power and environmental systems).
  • Performs backup and recovery to protect County data and services.
  • Currently supports ~156 servers and ~170 TB of data.

Network Team

  • Supports routers, switches, secure Wi-Fi, internet access, and VPN.
  • Maintains core network services (DNS / DHCP / NTP), traffic management, and load balancing.
  • Operates Cisco Unified Communications Manager with ~2,000 VoIP phones across the County.

Security Team

  • Implements a layered defense across people, process, and technology.
  • Leads vulnerability management, security awareness, and policy.
  • Monitors and responds to threats to keep County systems secure and resilient.
