The NACo Prescription Discount Card Program is a free program for county residents to receive an average of 24% savings on their prescriptions. Everyone is eligible for the card. There are no age or income restrictions. The card can be used by the uninsured, underinsured, seniors and even pets! One card can cover an entire family! Nine out of 10 pharmacies accept the card out of a network of more than 60,000 pharmacies nationwide.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public information meeting regarding the Pensacola Bay Bridge Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. The meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 18 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. CDT at the Pensacola Civic Center, 201 East Gregory Street, 2nd Floor, Rooms C1, C2 and C3, Pensacola.

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners’ Annual Report provides an overview of Escambia County’s programs, projects and accomplishments over the past fiscal year.\r\n\r\nAlthough still facing many tough challenges including reduced revenues and decreasing budgets, Escambia County’s mission “to provide efficient, responsive services that enhance our quality of life, meet common needs and promote a safe and healthy community” was met. The accomplishments in the past fiscal year are a result of teamwork, collaboration and a passion for excellence. The County Administrator’s Office, the Board of County Commissioners and Escambia County employees continue to meet the challenges of the next fiscal year with the same enthusiasm and passion.
