With below-freezing temperatures expected along the Gulf Coast this weekend, the National Weather Service in Mobile, Alabama has issued a Freeze Watch for Escambia County and surrounding areas. The Freeze Watch will be in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning, with early morning lows Saturday forecast from 27-32 degrees.

The Escambia County Waste Services Department will host the next Regional Roundup on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 8 a.m. until noon at the Perdido Landfill, located at 13009 Beulah Road.
