The Risk Management Division is responsible for protecting the county’s assets and preserving operational continuity from risks and safety hazards that may arise from activities/events that may affect the county.

Risk Management Policies and Procedures

  • To establish overall risk management policy and procedures, with emphasis on insuring and self-insuring county property, liability and worker's comp risk and processing claims against the insurance policies and the self-insured fund.

Workers' Compensation Reporting Procedure

  • Procedures on reporting a worker's compensation injury.

Reporting Suspected Worker's Compensation Fraud Policy

  • A policy providing a mechanism for the reporting of suspected fraudulent worker's comp claims against Escambia County.
