Mission Statement

The mission of the Escambia County Corrections Department is to provide protective services, ensure efficient delivery of services to citizens and clients alike and provide effective criminal justice alternatives, which promote a safe environment. Department responsibilities include oversight of the Escambia County Jail, Community Corrections Division and the Road Prison. The department approaches its duties with integrity, character and fairness in the treatment of all inmates, citizens and staff members.
