Detroit Boulevard Corridor


The Detroit Boulevard Corridor project includes the following safety improvements: widening the existing roadway, adding paved shoulders, improving drainage, adding turn lanes at specific intersections, adding pedestrian access routes, and replacing both bridges at the Cove and Detroit intersections.

The project has been segmented into the four (4) phases listed below:

Phase 1: Detroit Blvd at Pine Forest Road Intersection (Complete)

        Phase 2: Detroit Blvd and Cove Ave Bridge Replacements (Complete)       

        Phase 3: Pine Forest Road to West of Cove Avenue

        Phase 4: Cove Avenue to US 29 & Detroit Blvd at US 29 Intersection (FDOT)
