Chemstrand Sidewalks North (Nine Mile to Ten Mile Road)

Chemstrand Road currently has sidewalks, curb and gutter, and a 4’ bike lane on approximately 25% of the roadway.

The Chemstrand Road Sidewalks Project will include the design and construction of 6’ sidewalks, curb and gutter, a 4’ bike lane, and drainage improvements on both sides of Chemstrand Road from Nine Mile Road to Ten Mile Road. Additionally, a majority of the existing ditches will be filled, and stormwater will be conveyed via an underground pipe system.
