Reminder: BCC to Hold Regular Meeting Jan. 8

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners will hold several meetings Thursday, Jan. 8. The Committee of the Whole workshop is scheduled for 9 a.m., Public Forum begins at 4:30 p.m., and the Regular BCC Meeting begins at 5:30 p.m.

All meetings will take place in the board chambers of the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, located on the first floor of 221 Palafox Place. View the COW workshop agenda here and the Regular BCC Meeting agenda here.

These meetings will be archived on MyEscambia.com and the Escambia County YouTube channel. Click here to watch the livestream on YouTube. All commission meetings can also be viewed live on channel 4/1004 on Cox, channel 98 for Spectrum and Mediacom (Pensacola Beach) subscribers and channel 99 for AT&T U-verse subscribers. An online speaker sign-up form is available for individuals who wish to speak during the Gary Sansing Public Forums and Escambia County Board of County Commissioners meetings. Click here to access the form. In-person forms will be available prior to the start of public forums and commission meetings. 

Members of the public who would like to present a video, photo, PowerPoint, electronic presentation, or other visual aid when speaking at an Escambia County BCC Meeting or Public Forum must submit all materials no less than 24 hours prior to the meeting to ensure technical compatibility and ensure that the materials adhere to Federal Communications Commission guidelines. Any individual wishing to present a visual aid must state so on their speaker request form when signing up to speak at a BCC meeting.

Visual aids should be submitted to [email protected] or via removable media device/USB drive delivered to 221 Palafox Place, Suite 410. Visual aids must be no longer than 3 minutes or must remain within the time allotted to each speaker, as determined by the BCC Chair.
