Innerarity Lots Sold, More Available in Next Auction

Escambia County sold four Innerarity Island lots on Feb. 7 for a total of $131,000. The revenue collected from the sale of these properties or any of the county's property on Innerarity Island will be set aside to defray the cost of the area's water and sewer improvement project. The county became the receiver for the Innerarity Island Development Corporation and inherited the assets of this corporation, including residential lots in the highly desirable location. These lots are now being offered for sale to the general public.

Seventeen vacant lots remain, which will be available for purchase through an online public auction. This is a private, gated community with a community park and picnic area. A wide variety of lots are available, including waterfront, water view and interior cul-de-sac lots.  Live bidding will begin on Feb. 28 and end on March 5.
