Escambia County's annual report is filled with information about county services throughout the community, ongoing county projects and an overview of accomplishments during the fiscal year, which began Oct. 1, 2016 and ended Sept. 30, 2017. The report highlights Escambia County government’s ongoing mission to provide efficient, responsive services that enhance the county’s quality of life. Fiscal year 2017 also brought a focus from county leaders on improving public access to information and services, encouraging citizen engagement and striving for enhanced transparency.
