Formal Solicitations and Contracts

• The Office of Purchasing prepared and advertised 107 Formal Solicitations for contracts in excess of $50,000 broken down as:
  • Invitations to Bid - 69
  • Requests for Proposals - 20
  • Engineering Selections - 15
  • Qualifications Search - 3

Policy and Procedure changes

• Posting of Intended Single Source Selections procedure was put into place in 2015.  A total of six postings were completed.

Community Outreach

• The Office of Purchasing participated or hosted in the following outreach programs for Vendors in Escambia County:
  • Reverse Trade Show - 2015 Gulf Coast Chapter of NIGP
  • MatchMaker – Florida DMS/UWF - Office of Supplier Diversity
