The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners will hold its first budget public hearing for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 5:01 p.m. The hearing will take place in the board chambers of the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, located on the first floor of 221 Palafox Place. Escambia County will begin operating under the new budget on Oct. 1, which is the start of the 2026-2027 fiscal year. The proposed 2026-2027 budget can be viewed online at MyEscambia.com/budget.
An online speaker sign-up form is available for individuals who wish to speak during the public forum section of the hearing. Click here to access the form. In-person forms will still be available prior to the start of the hearing.
