Detours will be in place beginning Friday, Jan. 30 at 5 p.m. on Hancock Lane between Antietam Drive and Luther Street, with traffic detoured along Airport Boulevard and North Palafox Street. Drivers traveling on Hancock Lane should use extra caution and follow road crew instructions and posted signs when traveling through the work zone. The road is expected to reopen by Monday, Feb. 2, weather permitting.
Residents, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles will have access to properties within the work area at all times; however, there may be short periods when a driveway or entrance may be blocked temporarily as equipment and materials are moved during construction.
If other roadway closures are necessary or work is delayed, another notice will be issued.
