During the seminar, key stakeholders will promote resiliency and an open discussion among agencies, organizations and local government in northwest Florida. The event will include presentations from each panelist followed by a roundtable discussion. Panelists will cover topics around resiliency in northwest Florida, including funding for resilience and sustainability, storm recovery, water and green infrastructure, and transportation resiliency. Staff from Escambia County Natural Resources Management will be in attendance as well as members of WSP USA and Resiliency Florida.
Escambia County's Resiliency Program is a grant-funded effort housed within the Natural Resources Management department. Established in 2022, the Resiliency Program includes the Brownfields Program, Support for the Environmental Justice Committee, and project and grant management for environmental and resiliency projects in Escambia County.
