Construction will consist of two storm drain crossings including cutting and patching Fowler Avenue. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, Jan. 6, 2023.
During this time, southbound traffic will be detoured down West Nine and Half Mile Road to Cove Avenue to proceed south to West Nine Mile Road. Northbound traffic will be detoured down West Nine Mile Road to Cove Avenue to proceed north to West Nine and Half Mile Road. If other lane or roadway closures are necessary, another notice will be issued.
A formal Maintenance of Traffic Plan was submitted to and approved by the Escambia County Construction Management Division on Dec. 16, 2022. Ryan Rice, Chavers Construction, Inc., was responsible for submittal of the approved MOT Plan and has a valid certificate for Advanced MOT training.
