Work is expected to be completed by Feb. 7, 2023.
During this time, all through traffic and heavy truck traffic will be detoured to Pace Boulevard. Local and emergency traffic will be detoured along North "T" Street, West Blount Street, West Lloyd Street, and North "Y" Street. If other lane or roadway closures are necessary, another notice will be issued.
Residents, local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access to properties within the designated work area at all times. Short periods may occur where a driveway or entrance is blocked temporarily as equipment and materials are moved during construction.
A formal Maintenance of Traffic Plan was submitted to and approved by the Escambia County Construction Management Division on Dec. 8, 2022. Christian Grimes, CWR Contracting, was responsible for submittal of the approved MOT Plan and has a valid certificate for Advanced MOT training.
